About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain and enhance the Information Security Management System (ISMS), ensuring alignment with ISO 27001 and corporate policies and guidelines
  • Lead risk, control, and compliance assessments, recommending corrective, preventive, and continuous improvement actions
  • Consolidate, validate, and manage evidence for internal and external audits and certifications, ensuring document traceability
  • Prepare for, support, and monitor audits and certifications, coordinating requirements, controls, deadlines, and action plans
  • Monitor metrics, risk treatment plans, audit actions, and improvement plans, reporting results to leadership through executive reports and presentations
  • Coordinate Change Advisory Committee governance, ensuring the registration, analysis, approvals, communication, and auditable evidence of changes
  • Draft, review, and maintain policies, standards, procedures, matrices, and other normative documents related to IT Governance and Information Security
  • Assess risks related to critical changes, vendors, and IT processes, balancing continuity, security, costs, contracts, and compliance
  • Organize and govern evidence repositories in SharePoint, ITSM tools, or equivalent platforms
  • Serve as a technical reference, guiding analysts and relevant teams on governance, security, and compliance practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Law, or related fields
  • Solid experience in IT Governance and Information Security, including internal controls, risk management, audits, document management, and metrics
  • Experience with an Information Security Management System (ISMS) and ISO 27001 and ISO 27002 standards, including the Statement of Applicability (SoA) and Business Impact Analysis (BIA)
  • Experience drafting and reviewing governance policies, standards, procedures, and matrices
  • Experience with change management processes and the traceability of decisions and approvals
  • Experience managing IT vendors and contracts, including budget and metrics monitoring
  • Knowledge of Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and compliance requirements
  • Knowledge of ITIL and COBIT frameworks applied to IT governance and service management
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Excel
  • Experience with ITSM, GRC, or document management tools
  • Postgraduate degree or specialization in IT Governance, Information Security, GRC, Auditing, Risk Management, or Compliance (a plus)
  • Experience with ISO 27001/27002 in regulated corporate environments (a plus)
  • Technical/intermediate English proficiency for reading standards, contracts, evidence, and technical documentation (a plus)
  • Experience with Power BI or an equivalent tool for developing metrics and dashboards (a plus)
  • Familiarity with Kanban and agile practices applied to demand management (a plus)
  • Certifications in ISO 27001, ISO 27002, ITIL Foundation, COBIT, risk management, auditing, LGPD, or compliance (a plus)
