About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work on the evolution of critical systems
- Develop APIs and modernize the technology platform
- Participate in architectural decisions and projects of high business relevance
- Develop and maintain backend APIs in .NET, focusing on performance, security, and availability
- Enhance authentication and authorization services
- Refactor legacy systems, reducing complexity and technical debt
- Implement automated tests and participate in code reviews
- Support observability, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Contribute to microservices-based architectures and modern development practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of solid experience in backend development with .NET Core/.NET 6 or later
- Proficiency in C#, REST APIs, and SQL Server
- Experience with automated testing, Git, and code reviews
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and API security best practices
- Experience maintaining and enhancing legacy systems
- Preferred: experience with OpenTelemetry, observability, and distributed tracing
- Preferred: knowledge of Redis and distributed caching solutions
- Preferred: experience with CI/CD and test automation
- Preferred: experience migrating .NET versions and working in agile environments
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, combined with proven backend development experience
