About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain membership for Legacy’s Wellness Program
  • Perform and document LiveFit services with residents under guidance of the Rehabilitation Director/Area Rehab Director
  • Provide personal fitness through Legacy’s LiveFit program and complete required billing and documentation
  • Deliver LiveFit treatment plans to improve health, fitness levels, and meet members’ fitness goals
  • Provide group fitness and wellness services through the LiveFit Program
  • Meet efficiency standards set by the company
  • Participate in department and facility meetings
  • Promote wellness, independence, and overall functionality among senior residents
  • Discuss, motivate, and teach fitness members to improve and maintain fitness and strength
  • Identify goals and deliver tailored exercise plans for personal fitness and group sessions
  • Assist with marketing the LiveFit program to increase membership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school graduate or GED equivalent
  • College graduate preferred with bachelor’s degree in related field of study such as exercise science, kinesiology, etc.
  • Personal training or group fitness certification – nationally recognized and accredited organization preferred or willing to attain (i.e. ACSM, NSCA, NASM, ACE, ISSA)
  • Preferred 1+ year personal training or group fitness experience
  • Previous experience with senior population desirable
  • Customer service skills to deliver an exemplary experience
  • CPR/AED Certification must be current
  • Excellent verbal/written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
