About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team
- Plan initial and subsequent treatment programs based on clinical findings
- Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate patients’ plans of care
- Treat residents one on one in private treatment sessions
- Individualize treatment sessions using a functional-based treatment approach
- Deliver personalized therapeutic care to senior living community residents
- Collaborate with rehabilitation therapists and care teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in area of discipline
- Current Physical Therapy license in state of practice, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment
- Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills
- Computer proficiency
- Ability to provide rehabilitative services under specific medical orders
- Position is full-time, non-exempt
- Physical therapy practice in a senior living community setting
