About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team
- Plan initial and subsequent treatment programs based on clinical findings
- Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate patients’ plans of care
- Treat residents one on one in private treatment sessions rather than group settings
- Deliver functional-based, individualized treatment
- Provide personalized therapeutic care to senior living community residents
- Help improve senior patients’ quality of life
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in area of discipline
- Current Physical Therapy license in state of practice, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment
- Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills
- Computer proficiency
- Ability to provide care under specific medical orders
- Position is PRN
- On-site role in Mars Hill, North Carolina
