Key responsibilities & impact

Provide physical therapy services in accordance with physician plans of care and the State Physical Therapy Practice Act
Deliver 1-on-1 rehabilitation services on-site at Terra Bella of Greensboro and in patients’ homes throughout Greensboro/Guilford County
Evaluate home environments, mobility, gait, muscle strength, and range-of-motion potential
Build tailored rehabilitation programs
Instruct patients, family members, and caregivers on therapeutic appliances, home exercises, and safe mobility strategies
Participate in clinical conferences
Coordinate care plans as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team
Identify additional patient needs and make appropriate referrals
Prepare timely documentation of physical therapy services in accordance with state regulations and company policy

What you’ll need

Degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program
Current Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of North Carolina (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
Excellent interpersonal, clinical, and fiscal management skills
Computer proficiency for electronic documentation and care planning
Experienced, motivated, and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant
Ability to provide care in facility and home settings throughout Greensboro/Guilford County
