Key responsibilities & impact

Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidence-based therapeutic techniques
Establish treatment goals and develop and implement appropriate Speech Pathology treatment programs based on full clinical evaluations
Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team
Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate patients’ plans of care
Treat residents one-on-one through private treatment sessions using a functional-based treatment approach
Provide personalized rehabilitative care to senior living community residents to improve their quality of life

What you’ll need

Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology school
Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment
Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills
