Key responsibilities & impact

Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidence-based therapeutic techniques
Establish treatment goals and develop and implement Speech Pathology treatment programs based on a full clinical evaluation
Provide rehabilitative services under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team
Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate patient care plans
Treat residents one-on-one through private treatment sessions using a function-based treatment approach
Provide personalized therapeutic care to senior-living residents to improve their quality of life

What you’ll need

Master’s Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology school
Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment
Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills
Weekend availability can be accommodated
