About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Respond to warm sales leads during scheduled hours
- Sell company genealogy research services by phone, video, and email
- Assist potential clients in finding solutions for their research needs
- Establish and maintain potential client relationships
- Meet deadlines and individual and team sales goals
- Attend virtual company meetings
- Fill in for team members as needed
- Manage leads during specified time-stamped incoming windows
- Pick up extra shifts during workload surges or team absences
Requirements
What you’ll need- Fluent in English
- 2 years of sales experience, preferably in professional/consulting services
- Experience working with clients in the UK/International and willingness to accommodate their time zone
- Experience in telephone and video call sales, preferably unscripted
- Availability for a part-time job with a very flexible schedule
- Experience with CRM and pipeline management
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proven ability to meet KPIs such as sales goals
- Ability to build trust and credibility
- Quiet workspace with a computer, reliable internet, and no distractions
- Interest in and preferably some knowledge of genealogy
- Availability to align with UK time (GMT/BST), beginning daily team check-ins/assigned shifts from 8:30 AM UK time
- Ability to check voicemail and email every business day and attend monthly department and all-staff meetings
