About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own day-to-day Data Privacy matters across Legend’s international business
- Develop and strengthen Privacy frameworks, including ROPA, international data transfers, controller/processor contractual relationships and Data Processing Agreements
- Partner with Product, Technology, Marketing, Commercial and People teams to embed Privacy into initiatives and product support
- Translate complex Privacy requirements into clear, commercially focused advice
- Support commercial agreements, employment matters and other Legal projects
- Improve Privacy processes, guidance and ways of working
- Work with experienced lawyers and stakeholders across the business
Requirements
What you’ll need- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales or equivalent)
- Approximately 1–3 years PQE
- Practical Data Privacy / Data Protection experience
- Knowledge of ROPA, international data transfers, controller/processor relationships and Data Processing Agreements
- Strong commercial judgement and communication skills
- Ability to turn complex legal requirements into clear, practical advice for non-legal stakeholders
- Proactive, curious approach and ability to take ownership
- Ability to research unfamiliar issues and know when to seek support
- Experience in technology, digital, SaaS, gaming or another data-rich international business is advantageous but not essential
