About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver end-to-end analytical projects shaping commercial, product and marketing decisions across the Sports portfolio
- Build advanced forecasting models using financial planning, historical performance, seasonality and sporting events
- Redesign and enhance the Tableau dashboard suite
- Improve data quality and accessibility by identifying gaps and optimising reporting
- Partner with Data Engineering to strengthen data pipelines
- Apply statistical analysis, behavioural analytics and experimentation to drive revenue, conversion and long-term growth
- Mentor team members and identify future analytical opportunities
- Partner with Product, Commercial, Marketing and SEO teams
- Report directly to the Head of Data and Insights
Requirements
What you’ll need- Expert-level SQL
- Strong Python (preferred) or R, Tableau and statistical analysis skills
- Proven experience independently delivering end-to-end analytical projects from scoping through to implementation
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Ability to translate business challenges into analytical solutions
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Commercial mindset with experience using data to influence business strategy and decision-making
- Experience mentoring or supporting team members
- Experience within sports betting, iGaming or another digital business with strong web analytics exposure is highly desirable
