About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Report directly to the Head of Data and Insights
- Partner with Product, Commercial, Marketing, and SEO teams across the Sports business
- Deliver end-to-end analytical projects supporting commercial, product, and marketing decisions
- Build advanced forecasting models using financial planning, historical performance, seasonality, and sporting events
- Redesign and enhance the Tableau dashboard suite
- Provide stakeholders with faster, more actionable performance insights
- Identify data gaps and optimize reporting
- Partner with Data Engineering to strengthen data pipelines
- Apply statistical analysis, behavioural analytics, and experimentation
- Uncover opportunities that drive revenue, conversion, and long-term business growth
- Mentor team members and identify future analytical opportunities
- Shape Legend's analytics capability and data-driven decision-making
Requirements
What you’ll need- Expert-level SQL
- Strong Python (preferred) or R skills
- Tableau skills
- Statistical analysis skills
- Proven experience independently delivering end-to-end analytical projects from scoping through implementation
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Ability to translate business challenges into analytical solutions
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Commercial mindset and experience using data to influence business strategy and decision-making
- Experience mentoring or supporting team members
- Experience within sports betting, iGaming, or another digital business with strong web analytics exposure is highly desirable
