About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Carry a quota for provider referral partnerships and referral volume in the territory
- Self-source prospects, build the case with practice decision-makers, and close partnerships
- Maintain accurate pipeline and account activity records in the CRM
- Spend most of the week in the field meeting physicians, medical assistants, office managers, and administrators
- Conduct virtual outreach and follow-up
- Represent Legion Health to clinical and administrative customers
- Explain Legion’s AI-enabled psychiatric care and referral model
- Map practice decision-makers and build multi-threaded relationships
- Educate providers on Legion’s model and the impact of accessible psychiatric care
- Establish clean handoffs so referrals convert into scheduled visits
- Feed field insights into messaging, targeting, and the sales playbook
- Partner with leadership on territory design, targeting, and process
- Collaborate with peers across territories to improve objection handling and win rates
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years carrying and hitting a quota in a field-based or B2B2C role
- Healthcare, medical device, or pharma referral sales strongly preferred
- Comfort and skill engaging clinical and administrative buyers
- Ability to build physician rapport and move conversations toward partnerships
- Strength selling in person
- Highly organized and analytical; comfortable owning a number and reasoning from pipeline data
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Familiarity with CRM and sales tooling
- Existing relationships with provider referral networks are a plus, but not required
- Must be based in or able to work the Houston, Texas territory
- Willingness to travel occasionally for team offsites and strategic meetings
- Willingness to work well beyond a traditional 9–5
- Willingness to take ownership and work hands-on when needed
