About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Administer M365 and equivalent SaaS platforms, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Intune, and Virtual Desktop infrastructure
Administer Azure desktop environment server-based systems, security devices, distributed applications, and network storage
Perform systems monitoring
Consult on network, application, and customer service issues to support computer systems’ security and availability
Deploy and manage virtual machines in Azure to support a large user base
Develop usage metrics to manage resource usage and assist in developing service optimization models
Provide technical support to Tier 2 service desk
Manage Windows images, including group policy and end-user software

Requirements

What you’ll need

Requires a current TOP SECRET Security Clearance
Requires a BS or Masters degree with 5+ years of IT experience with significant experience with Microsoft Azure
Must hold a CompTIA Sec + Certification
Relevant experience as a Windows system administrator
Understanding of cloud computing and networking
Experience with PowerShell
Knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Security and Data Governance Tools
Working knowledge of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Framework
Superior organizational skills
Capable of managing multiple projects
Great communication skills (oral and written)
Strong attention to detail
