About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate, monitor, and manage conference room installation activities, including associated training requirements
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules for each conference room installation
  • Coordinate, schedule, and facilitate project milestone meetings with stakeholders, including NASA customers
  • Coordinate and monitor procurement activities to support project requirements and installation schedules
  • Validate completion of project deliverables in accordance with established requirements and timelines
  • Lead and coordinate cross-organizational project teams, including vendors and subcontractors, to support successful project execution
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation in designated shared repositories
  • Communicate project status, progress, risks, and updates effectively and transparently across all levels of leadership and stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of four (4) years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience coordinating and managing projects, schedules, milestones, and deliverables
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project for project scheduling and tracking
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Experience coordinating with vendors and subcontractors to support project requirements and deliverables
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage cross-organizational teams and stakeholders
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively with customers, leadership, and technical teams
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project requirements
  • Ability to work onsite at either NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, or Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
