About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide technical expertise and leadership on cyber implementation for development projects and act as backup to the Cyber Integration Team Lead
Oversee changes to hardware, software, and network configuration and implement infrastructure security best practices
Guide team members to align efforts with goals established by the Cyber Integration Team Lead
Work on cybersecurity items and system bug resolution as required
Implement highly technical solutions using advanced technologies
Assist in managing and monitoring Jira tasking and artifacts
Coordinate with the Cyber Integration Team Lead to plan and assign work
Support ABMS Digital Infrastructure Processing Node solutions for JADC2 in collaboration with Program Managers, domain engineers, and Government and Industry partners

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree with 8-12 years relevant experience and at least 3 years experience leading highly technical, diverse, and decentralized team; additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree
Active and current Secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI
Knowledge of security principles and practices for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), using tools such as Terraform or Ansible
Demonstrated ability to embed security practices and testing into CI/CD pipelines
Experience with Tenable Nessus, Nessus Manager, and Tenable.sc, or other vulnerability scanning and management
Basic working knowledge of DISA STIGs, including applying, verifying, and documenting compliance
Experience conducting and documenting threat modeling exercises
Experience with RHEL and/or Windows and/or network device hardening and vulnerability management; basic fluency in each operating system
Proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
DoD 8570 Level 2 certification
Familiarity with Agile Management and JIRA
Preferred: cyber requirements integration with technologies such as CSfC
Preferred: experience managing eMASS and Xacta RMF packages and artifacts
Preferred: knowledge of classified cloud environments and the Shared Responsibility Model
Preferred: cybersecurity certifications such as SSCP, CCSP, CEH, PenTest+, Cloud+, GIAC, GCED, GCIH, or CySA+
Preferred: background implementing, fielding, and authorizing CDS solutions
Preferred: TS/SCI clearance
