About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Represent the RSR Program Office at RSR sites and execute an aggressive multi-site schedule
  • Serve as an RSR subject matter expert to program office project, implementation, and engineering leads
  • Participate in final planning and site preparation, including developing site implementation plans and conducting site visits as required
  • Provide onsite installation/construction consultation for implementation and disposition activities
  • Advise contractors on requirements based on design drawings and the statement of work

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of relevant experience, or Master’s Degree with less than 2 years of relevant experience, or additional years of relevant experience may be considered/accepted in lieu of a degree
  • Experience with research, design, and development of electrical equipment and systems
  • Ability to perform independently and as part of a small team while meeting an aggressive installation schedule
  • Demonstrated commitment to high-quality maintenance practices during RSR implementation
  • Professionalism representing Leidos to FAA customers
  • Hands-on field experience on one or more Radar systems in the active NAS
  • Understanding of FAA operational risk management practices
  • Demonstrated knowledge of FAA construction/installation requirements at RSR sites
  • Travel expected 75% of the time
