About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the installation and maintenance of client LAN/WAN devices
Respond to, update, and resolve incident tickets within ServiceNow
Administer networks including hardware, systems software, applications software, and hardware configurations
Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs, or upgrades
Perform configuration management, validate topology drawings, and maintain accurate asset management records
Troubleshoot network faults and performance issues using OSI layers 1, 2, and 3
Configure and troubleshoot Layer 2 switching and VLANs
Modify and troubleshoot Layer 3 routing across the enterprise network
Troubleshoot MPLS across the WAN
Evaluate new network technologies and recommend integration approaches to the network architecture team
Develop and implement methodologies for analysis, testing, and support of LAN and WAN networks
Use Microfocus and Riverbed tools to identify and isolate customer-impacting network events
Communicate and troubleshoot with vendors and service providers to resolve incidents
Diagnose hardware and software problems and coordinate replacement of defective components

Requirements

What you’ll need

Required Clearance: TS/SCI with Poly
10 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education
Additional required qualifications include compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2
All candidates must have an active TS/SCI with CI Poly at time of consideration
