About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise application delivery and DDI infrastructure
  • Architect and deploy F5 and Infoblox network solutions across a hybrid multi-cloud environment
  • Design, deploy, and manage advanced application delivery models for high availability, performance, and security
  • Architect and maintain F5 BIG-IP solutions, focusing on LTM and GTM for local and global load balancing
  • Lead engineering, deployment, and administration of Infoblox DDI infrastructure covering DNS, DHCP, and IPAM
  • Collaborate with application developers, cybersecurity teams, and systems engineers to translate requirements into resilient network architectures
  • Perform advanced network troubleshooting, traffic analysis, packet capture, and performance tuning
  • Develop architectural documentation, standard operating procedures, technical blueprints, and compliance traceability
  • Ensure tools comply with DoW STIGs and IL5/IL6/IL7 protocols
  • Act as technical lead for the initiative and support critical mission requirements for DoW networks and systems

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) required at time of hire
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline and 12–15 years of prior relevant experience, or Master's with 10–13 years of prior relevant experience; specific experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Active IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+, GSEC, or SSCP) required
  • Cisco CCNA Certification; CCNP or CCIE preferred
  • United States Citizenship required
  • Minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in network engineering and architecture, with a dedicated focus on application delivery networks (ADN)
  • Deep, demonstrable expertise in F5 BIG-IP platforms, specifically configuring, upgrading, and migrating LTM and GTM/F5 DNS environments
  • Extensive experience designing and operating enterprise-class Infoblox DDI environments, including Grid architecture and seamless IPAM integration
  • RSA (Multi factor authentication) experience
  • Mastery of OSI model layers 2–7, TCP/IP, routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF, SSL/TLS offloading, and certificate management
  • Experience leading technical working groups and directing adjacent infrastructure and development teams
  • Prior experience working within a DoW/DoD Operations Center (NOC/SOC) or supporting mission-critical systems and networks
  • Ability to present designs, plans, and analyses of alternatives to technical leadership boards for approvals
  • Experience with network automation and orchestration tools such as Ansible, Python, Terraform, or F5 AS3 highly desired
  • F5-CTS or F5-CSE and Infoblox Core DDI certifications strongly preferred
