About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead a team and interact with customers to handle service inquiries and problems
  • Examine and solve highly complex customer problems and implement corrective actions
  • Analyze recurring problems and initiate solutions to prevent recurrence
  • Remotely log into end users' Windows or Linux desktops and servers for technical software configuration, rebooting, and remedial actions
  • Develop and apply solutions to undefined and complex technical issues across multiple disciplines
  • Diagnose, analyze, apply, and monitor complex solutions across multiple technical platforms, organizational structures, and classification levels
  • Install, configure, administer, support, and maintain systems and associated hardware
  • Update new systems and support current systems by tuning performance, allocating storage, and implementing critical patches
  • Achieve key project/program objectives and deliverables
  • Own projects or processes spanning multiple technical areas
  • Manage large projects or processes with moderate impact on sub-family results
  • Develop solutions to unclear technical problems requiring deep technical knowledge
  • Develop new technical solutions and systems using ingenuity and creativity
  • Communicate with internal team members and client team members across multiple areas
  • Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and other external parties as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Requires a current and active TS/SCI with a polygraph
  • Demonstrated mastery across multiple technical disciplines, applying advanced engineering principles to complex, high-impact mission challenges
  • Proven experience leading major technology initiatives, including architecture, design, integration, modernization, and implementation of enterprise-scale solutions
  • Experience evaluating system performance, technical risk, scalability, and architecture to recommend significant changes
  • Recognized technical expert with demonstrated success providing technical direction and solving highly complex problems across multiple projects and engineering domains
  • Experience serving as a senior technical advisor to customers and stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree with 12 or more years of experience, or a MS degree and 10 or more years of prior relevant experience
  • Additional work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Ability to lift and move IT equipment up to 30–50 lbs. and crawl under desks for physical cabling or machine setups
