About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the Real-Time Network Visibility (RTNV) Capability portfolio on the Global Management System (GMS) for the GSM-O II contract at DISA.
Facilitate one large complex agile team or several small agile teams within an Agile Release Train using SAFe.
Elicit, analyze, document, and refine business and system requirements into epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Educate teams in Scrum or Kanban, enforce agile processes, remove impediments, and foster high-performing team dynamics and continuous improvement.
Coordinate with team members, Scrum Masters, support personnel, Release Train Engineer, Project Manager, Product Owners, and stakeholders.
Protect the team from scope creep and ensure progress against Program Increment commitments.
Facilitate SAFe ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, demos, retrospectives, and PI planning.
Review and prioritize features with Product Owners and develop user stories meeting feature acceptance criteria.
Develop and maintain process flows, use cases, data flow diagrams, requirements traceability matrices, and other supporting artifacts.
Serve as liaison between technical teams and business/customer stakeholders.
Maintain information radiators, collect and share team metrics, and improve measurement practices.
Coach teams toward agile maturity, improved productivity, teamwork, sprint goals, and continuous improvement.
Lead issue analysis and triage and implement process improvements.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Requires a US Citizenship.
Must hold an active DoD Secret clearance.
Must be able to commute to Scott AFB, IL for full time on-site support.
Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or master's with 6+ years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of work experience in lieu of degree is acceptable.
Ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
Experience working as a Scrum Master on a software development or other technical team.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or similar agile project management certification (PMI-ACP).
Experience using agile project management tools (e.g., Jira).
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, and time management skills are a must.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, across diverse systems and groups.
Willingness to further grow and enhance skillset from more senior Scrum Masters throughout each project.
Preferred: Experience planning project milestones; facilitating communication; documentation; testing and validation; change management support.
Preferred: Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies, removing operational impediments, protecting team focus, and assisting Product Owners with backlog optimization.
Preferred: Experience organizing/planning requirements gathering and analysis, solution design, evaluation, and acceptance.
Preferred: Experience developing use cases, user stories, process flows, data flow diagrams, and requirements traceability matrices.
Preferred: Experience with BPMN, Lean, Six Sigma, JIRA, Git, Confluence, ITIL, AWS cloud certifications, large software systems, hardware integration, SAFe, legacy application migration, agile adoption, test automation, TDD, CI/CD, Kanban, DevOps/DevSecOps, DISA, and DoD Networks.
