About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct training sessions and workshops on Azure services and best practices tailored for DoD applications
- Provide one-on-one coaching to teams on cloud architecture, development, and deployment processes
- Assist in designing and implementing Azure-based solutions that meet security and compliance requirements
- Evaluate team skills and identify areas for improvement, creating customized learning plans
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to align cloud strategies with organizational goals
- Stay updated on Azure advancements and DoD cloud computing policies to provide relevant guidance
- Facilitate knowledge sharing among team members to enhance collective expertise
Requirements
What you’ll need- US Citizen with at least an active Top Secret security clearance and the ability to obtain a SCI prior to your start date
- Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience or a Master’s degree with 10+ years of experience; additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree
- Proven experience in cloud computing, specifically with Microsoft Azure
- Understanding of DoD compliance and security requirements for cloud services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coach and mentor teams
- Experience in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Experience with Air Force Life Cycle Management Center programs
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar certification
- Familiarity with the deployment and maintenance of Azure Cloud Edge devices on classified networks
- Experience developing enterprise solutions on classified cloud environments, especially Azure US Government Secret or TS
- Previous experience working with DoD or government projects
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) in Azure
- Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of cloud governance and cost management practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing environments
