About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assess each location and provide unique system configurations and solutions
- Conduct technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements
- Troubleshoot technical problems and determine technical solutions
- Recommend actions to company or customer representatives for coordinated product solutions
- Assess product needs according to customer specifications
- Conduct technical training and product briefings with customers, vendors, and company representatives
- Act as the local on-site representative to the customer's organization
- Provide field engineering and technical support during CONUS training and OCONUS deployment
- Install systems and perform preventive and corrective maintenance
- Troubleshoot, fault-isolate, test, and repair failed systems, including non-RF repairs and LRU-level circuit card assembly repairs
- Provide operator and maintainer guidance and training
- Recommend and requisition parts for system repairs
- Report failures and service actions to the OEM Customer Service Record database
- Prepare systems for operation, load system software, conduct theater data programming, and complete operational checks
- Support system fielding and initial acceptance by U.S. military units
- Provide on-site technical support to military units and assigned Commanders
- Maintain technical field-level logistics proficiency on LIDS systems
- Complete required system documentation and forms
- Coordinate packaging and OEM Return Material Authorization processes for non-mission-capable systems and equipment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active SECRET clearance
- Ability to perform maintenance and support military operators at Forward Operating Bases in multiple OCONUS locations
- Ability to assess locations and provide unique system configurations/solutions
- Ability to provide training and develop SOPs for end users/Army
- Technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements
- Troubleshooting technical problems and determining technical solutions
- Technical training and product briefings
- Field engineering and technical support experience
- Ability to work 12 hours per day, 7 days per week while in theater
- Ability to perform installation, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, operator guidance, and training
- Ability to troubleshoot, fault-isolate, and repair systems to the LRU level, including circuit card assemblies
- Ability to prepare systems for operation, load system software, train operators, and conduct operational checks
- Technical field-level logistics proficiency on LIDS systems
- Ability to complete required military documentation, including DA 2062, DA 2404, DA 2407, DA 3161, DD 1149, and DD 1348-1A
- Ability to coordinate packaging and OEM Return Material Authorization processes
- Willingness and ability to travel for CONUS training, OCONUS deployment, test events, and demonstrations
- Minimum two (2) months of CONUS training followed by a minimum one (1) year OCONUS deployment
