About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Distributed Common Ground System, Navy (DCGS-N) Family of Systems
  • Contribute to intelligence software integration in PMW 410's Systems Engineering Division
  • Integrate, automate, configure, and document software and tools for the Infrastructure and Platform Services product team
  • Support software deployments, cloud infrastructure baselines, and operational availability of production systems
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform or Ansible
  • Automate provisioning and scaling of resources across environments
  • Analyze systems to document functions and define interfaces for integration, testing, and quality assurance
  • Manage and optimize GitLab-based CI/CD pipelines, including configuration, troubleshooting, and workflow integration
  • Maintain Jira work items and service desk trouble tickets
  • Participate in SAFe Agile scrum meetings, planning activities, and team processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree with 10 years' experience or 8 years' experience with a master's degree in research, design, testing, and development of computer and network software or specialized utility programs
  • Master's or bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as engineering or mathematics
  • Active Secret clearance and ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI
  • 3+ years using DevSecOps methods and tools, including CI/CD, GitLab, and Docker
  • Experience applying configuration management principles, tools, and techniques on complex software projects
  • Expertise managing Linux-based infrastructure
  • Experience with the full software development lifecycle using Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Proficiency with DevOps tools for build, deploy, and patch automation, such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or BMC
  • Experience or training with VMware
  • Experience or training in Linux, Windows PC, and Windows Server environments
  • Experience administering Windows domains, Active Directory services, group policies, user management, and hybrid cloud integration
  • Experience with container orchestration using Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, or AWS EKS/ECS/ECR
  • Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher
  • Ability to travel 25%, including possible underway periods aboard U.S. Navy ships
  • Preferred: experience with Dell Windows servers and NetApp storage solutions
  • Preferred: experience with Windows 10/11, Windows Server, VMware, and MS Hyper-V
  • Preferred: experience with U.S. Navy COMPOSE, ISNS, or CANES environments
  • Preferred: basic networking experience
  • Preferred: technical experience supporting DCGS-N or other C4ISR programs
  • Preferred: experience with Java, Python, Go, JavaScript, Ruby, PHP, and Bash scripting
