About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support development, implementation, and maintenance of test frameworks for verification and validation of complex systems
Develop system-level and component-level test procedures, test cases, and data sets from formal requirements and system specifications
Write and execute test cases, scenarios, and scripts using Squish, Selenium, PyTest, or Robot Framework
Troubleshoot and debug tests, identify root causes of failures, and support defect resolution with software and systems engineering teams
Execute integration testing of distributed systems using containerized or virtualized environments such as Docker and Podman
Help manage virtual machines and development containers
Apply AI/ML-based tools and techniques to improve testing, coverage, and efficiency
Maintain test artifacts and documentation, including VRTM and traceability matrices
Interface with SkyLine-X KN-2 software and systems engineering teams and lab management for installation and integration efforts
Support test readiness reviews, system qualification events, and formal customer testing
Participate in daily stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Release Planning, and other Agile activities
Work both independently and as part of a team

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
2–4 years of prior relevant experience
Working knowledge of test automation and automated test frameworks/scripts, including Squish, Selenium, PyTest, or Robot Framework
Familiarity with integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Experience in testing, test script development, and system-level verification of complex systems
Proficiency with scripting languages
Familiarity with Linux or Unix-based environments
Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Podman
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
Excellent written/verbal skills and ability to interpret and author well-formed documents
Familiarity with AI/ML-based testing tools and techniques is desired
Familiarity with requirement decomposition is desired
Familiarity with the Atlassian Tool Suite and JIRA is desired
Familiarity with NextGen Air Traffic Control modernization programs is desired
Exposure to T&E standards, including VCRM and TRR documentation, is desired
Ability to support travel
