About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Establish environments for the ServiceNow team to execute their work
Prepare and create containers enabling microservices to work cohesively in a cloud-native application
Assist in continuous integration and continuous delivery of software
Support the standup, configuration, and implementation of ServiceNow ITSM, OMT, TSM, and TSOM modules
Assist in designing, creating, and maintaining ServiceNow applications and modules
Architect and design integrations with ServiceNow, including Elastic, Netcool, and Kafka
Coordinate and support application and platform upgrades
Resolve vulnerabilities associated with STIGs and scans
Assist with business process flows and ServiceNow configuration
Collaborate with the ServiceNow development team to propose solutions based on business needs and strategies
Support business process re-engineering to streamline capabilities into ServiceNow
Identify trends and patterns in customer data to improve customer experience and network performance
Interact with customers regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and issues
Ensure infrastructure has appropriate nodes, storage, and security parameters to host ServiceNow

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS degree and 4 years of prior relevant experience, or Master's with 2 years of prior relevant experience; may possess a Doctorate in technical domain
Active DoD Secret Security Clearance and ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret clearance
Security+ certification or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT II certification within 14 days of start date
Understanding of ITIL foundation or ITIL certified
Experience in architecture, design, development, and delivery of data driven operations capabilities within a DoD environment
Experience building and deploying software applications meeting DoD security standards and updating applications and code to meet security scans and implementation guidelines, including STIGs
2+ years of hands-on experience standing up, configuring, and/or maintaining environments
Experience with JIRA, Git, and Confluence
Experience working with a highly technical team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Must be able to commute to Scott AFB, IL, Ft. Meade, MD, Ogden, UT, or San Antonio, TX for primary on-site support as required
