About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assure the quality, compliance and performance of complex systems throughout the engineering lifecycle
- Collaborate with Systems Engineering teams to develop and execute verification and validation activities against system and subsystem requirements
- Ensure solutions meet defined performance and acceptance criteria
- Develop and maintain V&V artefacts, including test plans, test cases, Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs), verification procedures and test reports
- Execute formal verification and validation activities
- Analyse results and document objective evidence
- Provide clear reporting to support system acceptance and capability delivery
- Contribute to Agile delivery practices, including adaptive planning, user story development and estimation activities
- Validate cyber security requirements, security hardening measures and ISM controls
- Work with developers, cyber specialists and program stakeholders in multidisciplinary teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience working in verification and validation environments, including close collaboration with Systems Engineering teams on system and subsystem requirements
- Experience developing and documenting test plans, test cases, verification procedures and validation activities
- Experience executing test plans and test cases and assessing outcomes against defined requirements and acceptance criteria
- Experience producing and maintaining verification artefacts including test reports, Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs) and supporting documentation at system and subsystem level
- Experience collecting, managing and documenting objective evidence to support verification, validation and compliance activities
- Familiarity with test management tools, including ETM or similar test execution and management platforms
- Knowledge of cyber security principles, security hardening practices and ISM controls, with experience supporting the verification of security-related requirements
- Experience using Jira and Confluence for planning, collaboration, reporting and documentation
- Experience working within Agile delivery programs, including adaptive planning, user story development and story point estimation
- Ability to communicate technical findings clearly and effectively to a range of stakeholders
- Experience supporting V&V activities within Defence, Government or other highly regulated environments is advantageous
- Familiarity with systems integration, acceptance testing and compliance assurance processes is advantageous
- Experience working with requirements management and traceability frameworks across complex engineering programs is advantageous
- Exposure to multidisciplinary engineering teams delivering software, infrastructure and systems-based solutions is advantageous
- Must be an Australian Citizen
- Must hold an NV-1 security clearance
