About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide direct engineering support to manufacturing operations
  • Perform design, fabrication, modification, and/or evaluation of manufacturing operations
  • Prepare plans, conduct support studies, and provide analysis or tests in the development of manufacturing operations
  • Assign work to drafters and/or technicians as needed
  • Develop manufacturing process plans, test requirements, manufacturing flow, and capacity plans
  • Review detail designs for manufacturability and producibility
  • Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the organization’s mission, values, and culture

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in an applicable engineering field with 2–5 years applicable engineering experience or equivalent combination of education/training and experience
  • Applicable specialty may include manufacturing, production, industrial, welding, tooling, testing, processing, software, or robotics
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Active DOD security clearance or ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment
