About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the design, analysis, integration, and validation of RF systems
- Collaborate with engineers and program leadership on high-performance, scalable, mission-tailored solutions
- Assist engineers with various engineering assignments and design details
- Carry out basic work instructions and learn company fundamentals
- Conduct limited-scope testing under engineer supervision
- Gather and assemble data for engineers
- Assist with research in a particular field as required
- Conduct design analysis and calculations under engineer supervision
- Support analysis, design, development, and implementation of new and existing systems and subsystems
- Design, develop, analyze, document, and support testing of RF circuitry and systems
- Perform hands-on laboratory testing using signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and vector network analyzers
- Perform computer-aided simulations and analysis to verify design feasibility and predict RF performance
- Provide cost, power, and performance summaries for new RF products
- Create technical documentation for senior engineers and management
- Complete assigned tasks on time
- Support and communicate the organization’s mission, values, and culture
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED
- Engineering student with some progress towards an engineering degree
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to build a good network
- Diligent, hardworking, and quick to learn
- Ability to conduct limited-scope testing under engineer supervision
- Ability to perform design analysis and/or calculations under engineer supervision
- Ability to use laboratory equipment including signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and vector network analyzers
- Ability to perform computer-aided simulations and analysis
- Ability to create technical documentation
- Ability to complete assigned tasks on time
