About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Install, configure, upgrade, and apply patches to Oracle 19c or later instances.
Monitor and optimize performance using AWR, ASH, and ADDM, including query and instance tuning.
Administer high-availability environments using Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and ASM.
Define and manage backup and recovery strategies with RMAN, meeting RPO and RTO targets.
Implement access controls, auditing, user management, and security patches (CPU/PSU).
Automate routines using Shell Script, Python, or Ansible.
Perform root cause analysis of incidents and support the development team with SQL and data modeling best practices.
Work closely with the development team to improve SQL and data modeling quality.
Maintain critical Oracle environments, ensuring performance, integrity, and high availability.
Be part of the IT Infrastructure area within Leve Operadora’s IT Directorate.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent higher education.
Hands-on experience administering Oracle 19c or later in Linux/Unix environments.
Practical experience with RAC, Data Guard, and RMAN.
Strong command of tuning using AWR/ASH/ADDM and PL/SQL.
Knowledge of multitenant architecture (CDB/PDB).
OCP certification is a plus.
Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or cloud migration projects is a plus.
Experience with GoldenGate or Exadata is a plus.
Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) is a plus.
Experience with Ansible automation is a plus.
Remains calm during critical incidents and leads solutions methodically.
Seeks root causes rather than temporary fixes.
Explains technical topics clearly to business stakeholders and collaborates effectively with developers.
