About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Account Manager and client service team with clients’ financial, administrative, and business management needs
- Communicate with clients, teams, vendors, and partners
- Coordinate scheduling, calls, meetings, and client requests
- Compile reports, updates, and documentation
- Gather data on tour results, cash flow, and tax outcomes
- Maintain records of contracts, insurance policies, compliance documents, and renewals
- Support healthcare enrollment and business filings
- Maintain bookkeeping records, reconciliations, and account workbooks
- Prepare cash flow projections, payment documentation, tax workpapers, and audit materials
- Prepare client payments including checks, wires, ACH transfers, and credit card transactions
- Track accounts payable/receivable, invoices, commissions, and disbursements
- Monitor bank activity, balances, deposits, and discrepancies
- Coordinate with Tour, Personal Services, Royalties, Tax, and Payroll departments
- Draft correspondence, reports, and documentation
- Maintain systems, databases, and records
- Support client, vendor, and staff onboarding and offboarding
- Track assignments, workload prioritization, deadlines, and deliverables
- Prepare meeting agendas, document notes, and track action items
- Support team efficiency, standardization, onboarding, training, and operational improvements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in music business, business administration, Management, Finance, or a related field
- Experience in the entertainment industry or with accounting preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize assignments, streamline workflows, track long-term and short-term tasks, and keep up with emerging needs
- Understanding of accounting principles, budgeting, expense management, or financial reporting
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications, especially Excel, and project management tools
- Knowledge of financial software such as QuickBooks would be a plus
- Candidates must be onsite at the Nashville office from 8:00am–4:30pm CST initially
