Key responsibilities & impact

Manage and continuously develop Avaloq applications in the Portfolio Management domain
Analyse business requirements and translate them into sustainable system solutions with Business Specialists and Business Analysts
Design, implement and test new functionalities and enhancements to existing processes
Ensure reliable and efficient operation of applications and resolve incidents sustainably
Plan, coordinate and support releases with internal stakeholders and external partners
Prepare technical and functional documentation
Contribute to improving standards and processes
Participate in an interdisciplinary agile team and contribute ideas to further develop the system landscape

Requirements

What you’ll need

Higher education in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Banking & Finance, or an equivalent qualification
Solid experience with Avaloq, ideally within Portfolio Management
Sound understanding of relevant Avaloq components and interfaces
Experience in application management, business analysis or software development, preferably in a banking or financial-services environment
Knowledge of PL/SQL and Oracle SQL
Strong understanding of data, processes and end-to-end system dependencies
Analytical, structured and solution-oriented approach
Collaborative mindset when working across business functions
Excellent written and spoken English skills
German language skills are an advantage
Experience in release and test management, including collaboration with external IT partners, preferred
Familiarity with agile ways of working and regulatory requirements in a private-banking environment, preferred
