About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain full accounting process for certain legal entities within the Group
  • Support the monthly consolidated IFRS accounts closing process in SAP
  • Check the closing of stand-alone accounts of all Group companies for accuracy and completeness
  • Reconcile balances with external counterparties, including payment systems and vendors
  • Reconcile turnovers and balances with other internal systems
  • Reconcile intercompany turnover and balances
  • Resolve accounting irregularities and discrepancies
  • Maintain compliance of consolidated financial reporting with internal policies, procedures, and reporting deadlines
  • Prepare monthly consolidated and project reporting packages for management and shareholders
  • Communicate with service providers regarding reporting and tax compliance
  • Fully support audits of consolidated and standalone financial statements across different jurisdictions
  • Handle auditors' requests regarding consolidated financial audits
  • Provide explanations and supporting documents
  • Review proposed audit adjustments
  • Handle ad-hoc requests from management and other departments

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Higher education in economics and/or accounting
  • 3+ years of experience as an IFRS manager / financial manager with consolidation responsibilities
  • Experience of working in a SAP B1 and 1C accounting system is an advantage
  • English B2+
  • Experience in Forex industry is a huge advantage
  • Any related certificates (ACCA, CPA, CIMA etc) are also advantageous
