About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the monthly close and maintain US GAAP books
Prepare and deliver the monthly financial reporting package to management
Oversee accounts payable, including vendor payments, reimbursements, and card transactions in Ramp
Ensure spending follows the company's budget approval process
Oversee billing, collections, and cash application
Own revenue recognition under ASC 606, including revenue-share calculations
Maintain lease schedules and ensure compliance with ASC 842
Partner with HR on payroll processing and commission calculations
Review payroll accuracy and ensure proper recording and accruals in the GL
Support compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax and benefits reporting
Serve as primary contact for external auditors and external CPA firm
Support the annual audit and ensure timely filing of corporate tax returns
Manage multi-state registrations and ongoing compliance filings
Strengthen internal controls
Lead ERP selection and migration as the business scales

Requirements

What you’ll need

5-8+ years relevant experience including team leadership
CPA preferred
BS/BA in Accounting or Finance
Strong US GAAP/ASC 606 expertise
Hands-on revenue recognition or contract cost experience
Proficiency with QuickBooks, Excel, and bill/payroll tools
ERP experience (NetSuite/Intacct) preferred
Programmatic ad revenue or revenue share experience preferred
Multi-state/sales tax, cross-border payments, or vendor tax documentation preferred
First-year audit or ERP migration exposure preferred
English/Chinese bilingual preferred
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Must answer whether future sponsorship is required to work in the United States
