About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and build end-to-end features for the Aging in Place member segment
Ship across backend services, APIs, iOS, and Android surfaces
Use Claude Code and agentic workflows for specifications, coding, testing, reviews, and documentation
Define AI-Native engineering practices and publish playbooks for broader adoption
Build performant, reliable full-stack experiences for tens of millions of users
Collaborate with product managers and designers on scalable solutions
Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, technical standards, and continuous improvement
Participate in on-call rotation and incident response
Mentor team members and support AI-native workflow adoption
Support performance, reliability, and accessibility across owned features
Adapt Aging in Place patterns and services to Things and Pets verticals

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience building and operating high-quality, consumer-scale services
1+ years of hands-on experience prompting, evaluating, and building with LLMs
Full-stack proficiency spanning backend services and mobile client development (iOS and/or Android)
Deep experience with agentic workflows, prompt engineering, context window management, and MCP/function calling
Track record of using AI tooling as a genuine development partner
Strong ownership, communication, and collaboration skills
Bachelor's Degree in a Technical field, or equivalent experience
Daily use of AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot
Accountability for reviewing AI-generated code and everything shipped
Current knowledge of rapidly changing AI tooling
