Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with product managers to shape the roadmap and write product specifications
Prototype rough ideas rapidly using AI tools
Build market-specific pricing, packaging, and positioning surfaces, including paywalls, plan selection, upsell and upgrade flows, and one-time purchase flows
Localize and test purchase experiences across storefronts and currencies
Collaborate with product, design, data science, analytics, finance, and legal teams
Own staged rollouts end-to-end by ramping exposure, monitoring guardrails, and deciding whether to hold, roll back, or scale
Ship polished, performant, reliable experiences for 100M+ monthly active users
Monitor launch time, memory, battery, hangs, and crash-free rates
Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, technical standards, and continuous improvement across mobile codebases
Mentor engineers and help evolve AI-native engineering practices
Propose and ship features or experiments supporting global revenue growth and purchase-experience quality

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years of iOS software engineering experience shipping production apps at consumer scale
Experience owning a problem end-to-end from deciding what to build through production
Daily use of AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex for substantive engineering tasks
Experience with in-app purchases and subscription platforms, including entitlement handling, receipt/transaction validation, and refund and restore flows
Experience shipping to multiple App Store storefronts, including regional pricing, localization, and regulatory differences in payment rules
Strong proficiency with Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit
Deep familiarity with Xcode, Swift Concurrency with async/await and actors, and Combine
Experience with iOS architecture patterns including MVVM, TCA, Clean Architecture, and Swift Package Manager modularization
Comfort with feature flagging, A/B testing, exposure logging, holdouts, and guardrail metrics
Experience with mobile performance, memory, battery, hang, and crash diagnostics using Instruments, MetricKit, Xcode Organizer, Crashlytics, or equivalent
Experience with iOS CI/CD and App Store Connect release management
Experience communicating technical trade-offs clearly to product, design, and non-engineering partners
Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience
AI-generated code review and accountability for shipped work
Ability to share AI workflows and help teammates adopt AI tools
Ability to stay current with rapidly changing AI tooling
