About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the daily processing of appeals in the Par Provider Dental Appeals
- Complete appeals determination letters
- Prepare dental requests
- Update systems
- Complete reporting as necessary
- Collaborate with clinical support staff, including Medical Directors, Nurses, and Providers
- Move cases in the MedHok system
- Handle work in compliance with turnaround times and regulatory standards
- Manage complaint and appeal scenarios for dental products through resolution
- Coordinate responses from multiple business units when needed
- Ensure timely, provider-focused responses to complaints and appeals
- Identify trends and emerging issues
- Report findings and recommend solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Comprehends contemporary dental care standards, practices, and procedures
- Possesses high level of technical knowledge and radiograph interpretation skills
- If certified or licensed, maintains required continuing education requirements
- Vocational school or college level training beyond high school
- CDA, RDA, or RDH with at least five years clinical experience
- Ability to use available resources efficiently
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to research issues thoroughly and report findings clearly, providing options for resolution
