About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as Project Lead and primary sponsor contact
- Accountable for overall project delivery, including quality, time, and cost
- Establish and communicate customer expectations to the project team
- Ensure internal and external escalation pathways are followed
- Define responsibilities and communication pathways for secondary project leads when required
- Lead cross-functional project teams to meet or exceed deliverables
- Manage project-level financial stewardship, including contract understanding, resource alignment to budget, out-of-scope activity, and change-management negotiations
- Drive project team execution according to timelines
- Identify risks and resolve issues at the project level
- Ensure project team compliance with organizational policies, SOPs, ICH-GCP, regulatory, and project-specific requirements
- Serve as the project-level liaison between the sponsor and organization
- Work in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
- 8+ years of comparable experience providing the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience as a Global Lead Project Manager in the conduct of clinical trials, end-to-end
- Several years of demonstrated experience in vendor management and oversight across a broad range of vendor types
- Experience in at least two therapeutic areas preferred
- Technical and systems competency, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to delegate and prioritize own workload and project team members’ workloads in a frequently changing environment
- Effective oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Advanced therapeutic area knowledge and clinical development guidelines and directives
- Strong understanding of project management principles covering time, quality, and cost, including financial acumen
- Interpersonal and customer service skills, including ability to lead, motivate, and coordinate cross-functional project teams
- Good judgment, decision-making, critical thinking, analytical, and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to negotiate, persuade, and influence others, including cross-cultural awareness
- Compliance with organization policies, SOPs, ICH-GCP, regulatory, and project-specific requirements
