About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide outpatient psychiatric care.
- Focus on patient care while dedicated teams handle billing, technology, and administrative tasks.
- Set scheduled hours and appointment lengths.
- Build a caseload aligned with interests and areas of expertise through the Care Matching model.
- Integrate psychotherapy into everyday practice where appropriate.
- Collaborate with therapists, neuropsychologists, and psychiatric nurse practitioners.
- Participate in Grand Rounds and weekly consultation hours with clinical leadership.
- Pursue training in TMS and other innovative therapies.
- Optionally supervise newly graduated PMHNPs.
Requirements
What you’ll need- M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible (within 3 years of completing residency) in Adult or Child/Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
- A valid medical license in Massachusetts, or willingness to obtain prior to start date.
- Clinical focus in psychiatry.
- Ability to work with adult or child/adolescent patients.
- Ability to work in an in-person or hybrid model.
