About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide outpatient psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and/or adults
- Focus on patient care while dedicated teams handle billing, technology, and administrative tasks
- Set scheduled hours and appointment lengths
- Build a caseload aligned with interests and areas of expertise through the Care Matching model
- Integrate psychotherapy into everyday practice where applicable
- Collaborate with therapists, neuropsychologists, and psychiatric nurse practitioners
- Participate in Grand Rounds and weekly consultation hours with clinical leadership
- Pursue training in TMS and other innovative therapies
- Optionally supervise newly graduated PMHNPs
Requirements
What you’ll need- M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine
- Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3 years of completing residency in Adult or Child/Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
- Valid medical license in Massachusetts, or willingness to obtain prior to start date
