About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide integrated behavioral health care within a family medicine primary care office
- Provide outpatient psychotherapy
- Work as an integral member of primary care teams
- Treat primarily pediatric and adolescent patients with acute-to-chronic health conditions and mental health concerns
- Use evidence-based therapies including CBT, motivational interviewing, and brief targeted treatment
- Conduct screens for depression, anxiety, and other conditions
- Frequently consult with medical professionals
- Collaborate in an interdisciplinary, fast-paced clinical setting
Requirements
What you’ll need- Licensed Therapist with LICSW or LMHC licensure
- Excellent communication skills and clinical acumen
- Experience working with people across the lifespan
- Experience utilizing empirically supported treatment
- Experience working in a primary care environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to work primarily with pediatric and adolescent patients
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapies such as CBT and motivational interviewing
- Ability to conduct depression, anxiety, and other condition screenings
- Ability to consult with medical professionals
- Must value interdisciplinary work
