About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Research and document technical accounting positions covering revenue, stock-based compensation, leases, debt, and capitalized software
Prepare journal entry support for complex accounting areas and significant non-recurring transactions
Own accounting policies
Drive implementation of new accounting standards from research through operationalization and disclosure impact
Own equity-related technical accounting from grant setup review in Equity Edge Online to disclosures
Prepare statements of equity and cash flows and financial statement footnotes for complex areas
Prepare stock-based compensation expense support for quarterly journal entries
Assist in preparation and tie-out of proxy disclosures
Collaborate with Legal, FP&A, and business teams on new contracts and billing structures
Support audits with technical documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance, and 6 years of experience
CPA required
Public accounting experience, ideally Big 4 experience
Expertise in US GAAP
Ability to take ownership of deliverables, deadlines, risks, and outcomes
Ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent analytical skills and ability to accurately interpret data
Strong communication skills for explaining complex technical accounting matters to cross-functional stakeholders and auditors
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and evolving business, accounting, and reporting requirements
Must work during Pacific time zone
Must be based in an approved state
