About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design individualized programming prioritizing communication, independence, and self-advocacy
- Conduct intake evaluations including functional behavioral assessments and skills assessments
- Design positive behavioral treatment and skill acquisition plans with goals tailored to the individual
- Supervise and train ABA technicians
- Implement, model, and monitor progress of individualized behavior support and skill plans with ABA technicians
- Provide caring support during family conversations to ensure parents understand assessment results and treatment recommendations
- Collaborate with the Behavior Treatment Committee
- Participate in co-treat sessions with dually certified SLP-BCBAs
- Work within a neuroaffirming, assent-based, trauma-informed, ethical care approach
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential
- Eligible to provide supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT)
- 2 to 3 years of experience in ABA field, working with a variety of ages
- Able to communicate expressively and receptively for all responsibilities within the job role
