About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan work initiated through O&M contractual planned maintenance requirements
Ensure required resources are available and work aligns with maintenance plans, asset criticalities, and contract response times
Determine and monitor labour capacity to develop forward-looking work plans and maximise resource utilisation
Make dynamic decisions on reactive regional issues
Schedule corrective and preventative maintenance using company systems
Respond to client queries within assigned regions
Manage daily regional scheduling, monthly plan tracking, and adherence
Communicate verbally and in writing with internal and external stakeholders
Travel periodically to aligned regions for team meetings and regional meetings
Present regional performance data for planned and corrective maintenance activities
Produce the annual Preventative Maintenance plan for all solar farms in the aligned region
Manage, control, and fulfil O&M maintenance plans
Manage the CMMS, including work orders, quotations, and purchase orders
Organise regional contractor works and update clients on project progress
Use and support development of operations management systems and planning tools
Manage work orders through completion, accurately close them, and submit them to finance for timely invoicing
Foster and maintain strong client relations and business-to-business stakeholder connections

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience in a similar role
Demonstrable experience in an O&M business, including planning and quarterly planning
Ability to plan and schedule corrective and preventive maintenance activities aligned to contractual and operational requirements
Experience determining and monitoring labour capacity for future work plans
Experience with EAMS/CMMS for creating work orders, quotations, purchase orders, maintenance scheduling, and reporting
Some experience with procurement processes related to maintenance activities
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Proficiency with operation management and planning systems
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and possibly PowerPoint
Planning background or similar electrical background advantageous
Planning-related qualifications
Degree-level education or equivalent advantageous
