About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Proactively propose and co-develop benchmark transcreations with research lab partners
Lead end-to-end execution of high-priority technical programs for frontier AI labs
Manage delivery of massive-scale datasets and bespoke engineering milestones
Architect and oversee high-volume data pipelines across text, image, video, and audio modalities
Maintain strict delivery cadences while ensuring precision
Partner with production to implement automated and human-in-the-loop quality-control frameworks
Ensure data integrity across domains and languages
Bridge forward-deployed engineering, research, and production teams to serve the frontier AI market

Requirements

What you’ll need

B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, AI, or a related technical field with 10+ years of industry experience
Ph.D. with 5+ years of experience in a high-growth AI/Engineering environment as an alternative
Experience founding or scaling a venture, or operating in an early-stage startup environment while driving business growth and strategic initiatives
Strong business acumen and ability to manage high-stakes stakeholder relationships with frontier AI labs
Proven track record managing data pipelines for LLMs or multimodal models
Deep understanding of training, inference, and data diversity across multilingual and multi-domain data
Demonstrated ability to manage high-throughput programs where quality control is mission-critical
Experience with automated validation at scale
Fluency in multiple human languages preferred
Proficiency in Python and experience with modern AI frameworks such as PyTorch and LangChain preferred
Authorization to work in Australia is a precondition of employment
