  • Own architecture and long-term technical direction across multiple services and the platform
  • Extend IAA and audio-QA pipelines, including outlier detection, ASR sidecar enhancements, LLM-based QC, and audio-quality scoring
  • Design and ship modules integrating benchmark and vetting workflows into the multi-stage review lifecycle

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience
  • Track record of owning production systems end-to-end across more than one runtime/language
  • Deep experience with a Python backend framework (FastAPI or comparable), async SQLAlchemy, and Postgres
  • Production experience in at least one statically typed backend language (Go, Java, or similar)
  • Strong React/TypeScript frontend experience, including component architecture, state management, and modern data-fetching layers
  • Experience building and operating background job/worker systems with failure tolerance and idempotency
  • Experience integrating third-party and platform APIs, including GitHub API, OAuth/OIDC SSO, and at least one LLM API
  • Experience building Slack or comparable chat-platform bot integrations with operational guardrails
  • Comfort reading and extending applied-statistics or ML-adjacent code
  • Solid grasp of CI/CD, Docker, Helm, ArgoCD/GitOps or comparable tools, and Terraform or comparable infrastructure-as-code
  • Experience debugging and optimizing native-library memory growth in long-running Python worker processes via safe process recycling
  • Experience building and owning internal platforms/tools for non-engineering teams
  • Strong plus: audio/speech pipelines, data-labeling or crowdsourced-contributor workforce tools, agreement metrics, notification and delivery systems, heterogeneous data-source abstractions, ChatOps automation, short-lived rotatable service-to-service JWT authentication, and ownership of systems with different runtimes
  • Bonus: LLM-as-judge or LLM-based QA/review pipelines, OpenTelemetry, LLM provider gateway/routing services, and data export/reporting tools
