About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage premium and billing applications, including configuration/setup of new accounts in applicable systems
- Research discrepancies and conduct analysis to determine root cause
- Ensure information is complete and in good order
- Monitor premium and billing for proper completion, including balancing expenses
- Troubleshoot premium and billing issues and resolve root causes
- Manage basic reporting and complete terminations and reinstatements
- Handle transfers of payments as needed
- Provide customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Manage premium and billing cases according to established procedures and guidelines while meeting quality and production standards
- Escalate complex issues and concerns to senior team members or management
- Identify, recommend, and champion process improvements and organizational initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School or GED
- 0 - 1+ Years of billing, premium, and/or reconciliation experience that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal/written)
- Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable knowledge
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt as needed
- Ability to articulate/alter provisions and comfort with contract language
