About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and maintain business relationships to meet or exceed established sales goals, quotas or objectives by working directly with groups in the assigned territory
- Work with Advisors, Registered Representatives, Brokers, Plan Sponsors and Participants in the assigned territory to increase sales revenue and market share in ancillary products
- Maintain knowledge of current and emerging developments/trends for the assigned territory and products, assess impacts, and collaborate with management to incorporate trends into current and future solutions
- Develop and maintain understanding of LFG products, services, and operational structure to identify and target sales growth opportunities
- Provide education, information, training and advice on Lincoln’s products and services to assigned stakeholders
- Build and maintain business relationships via email, phone and in person with internal and external stakeholders
- Develop and execute basic plans to introduce Lincoln’s products, services, management and resources to stakeholders
- Identify, recommend and champion process improvements and organizational initiatives to positively influence the team and quality
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
- 5 - 7+ Years of experience in intermediary sales that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal/written)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Licenses required upon hire
- Group Benefits Sales Experience (Preferred)
- Ability to travel up to 50%
