About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support execution of structured finance and leveraged finance transactions from signing through closing
- Assist with preparation, review and management of transaction documentation
- Coordinate transaction processes and manage critical workstreams across multiple stakeholders
- Prepare and maintain transaction checklists, conditions precedent trackers, closing agendas and execution documents
- Manage signing and closing processes and ensure transaction milestones are met
- Liaise with clients, lenders, borrowers, trustees, financial institutions and external advisers
- Monitor transaction timetables and escalate issues that may affect delivery deadlines
- Manage post-completion requirements, filing obligations and transaction records
- Provide regular transaction status updates to lawyers and other stakeholders
- Undertake additional tasks as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- LPC, SQE, law degree or equivalent legal qualification, including foreign-qualified lawyers
- Experience supporting complex financing transactions, including structured finance, leveraged finance, banking or other debt-related transactions
- Strong understanding of transaction lifecycles, legal documentation and deal execution processes
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple live transactions simultaneously
- Ability to work to tight deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced transactional environment
- Proactive and resilient approach, remaining calm and effective under pressure
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience liaising with lawyers, clients, financial institutions and external advisers
- Flexibility to work longer hours when required, including overlap with Asia-Pacific time zones
- Highly detail-oriented, with strong commitment to quality and client service
