About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Implement new user-facing features in the Linqia Platform using Vue.js, Vuex, and TypeScript
Translate business needs and user goals into intuitive, engaging experiences
Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams on UI/UX strategy and user experience
Architect and implement robust, scalable server-side applications using Python
Write complex SQL queries with Trino or similar tools to gather and analyze data from multiple sources
Develop and maintain microservices supporting the platform
Design, optimize, and troubleshoot relational and non-relational databases
Integrate RESTful APIs for smooth end-to-end functionality
Write tested features, participate in code reviews, and own the codebase front to back
Develop end-to-end integration tests
Stay current with technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS degree in Computer Science or a similar technical area of study, or equivalent practical experience
2–4 years of experience as a software engineer/developer, with exposure to both front-end and back-end development
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript with TypeScript, Vue.js, Vuex/Pinia, and Webpack/Vite
Proficiency in Python and building and integrating APIs using FastAPI
Skilled in SQL and database optimization techniques
Experience with microservices architecture
Familiarity with Git/GitHub for version control
Front-end or fullstack experience working in an Agile setting
Strong commitment to code quality, testing, and performance optimization
English language proficiency required
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Experience with both relational and non-relational databases is a plus
Postgraduate degree in CS or further education/experience in a technical field is nice to have
Experience with AWS or similar cloud infrastructure is nice to have
Familiarity with Docker is nice to have
Knowledge of Apache Kafka or similar message queues and streaming platforms is nice to have
Understanding of caching mechanisms and performance optimization techniques is nice to have
Experience with performance testing and profiling tools is nice to have
Familiarity with machine learning concepts and LLM frameworks is nice to have
